Our junior and senior students experienced an unforgettable immersive field trip at the White House Decision Center, a nationally recognized, hands-on history lab. Students stepped into the roles of President Truman and his advisors, worked with formerly classified primary source documents, and collaborated to tackle some of history’s greatest challenges.
From critical thinking to teamwork and leadership, this experience brought history off the page and into real-world decision-making. What an incredible way to learn!

Learning is erupting in K-Quest!
Our K-Quest class is exploring the letter V today — and what better way than by creating a volcano! Hands-on fun, curious minds, and lots of excitement made this lesson one to remember. We love watching our students learn through creativity and discovery!

Our kindergarten class is hard at work today learning ordinal numbers using manipulatives. This method allows them to see, touch, and move objects turning an abstract idea (like first, second, third) into something concrete their brain can understand all while getting plenty of one-on-one attention from Mrs. Lyons.

Our Digital Photography students were out on a field trip today, capturing compositional elements like line, shape, color, and texture while exploring their surroundings. Along the way, they practiced using camera settings to achieve proper exposure—turning creativity into skill, one shot at a time.

It's finals weeks and the High School Art 1 students are creating charcoal grid portraits for their final project. Students chose someone influential in their lives to draw a portrait of and used the grid to demonstrate their drawing skills through line, shadows, highlights, mid tones and enlargement of a portrait.
