Our fall society meeting is Monday, September 21st at 6pm. We know you have questions and we have answers! What is a society meeting? Society meetings happen in the fall and the spring and are open to all society members. You'll hear important updates about VCS from the Board and be able to ask questions. As well as connect with other VCS families and faculty. Who should come to the meeting? You! Every parent that has signed the statement of faith is part of the Veritas society. What about my kids? We have childcare available for any students that need it by our high school students. The cost of childcare is donation and it will be going toward the upperclassmen Europe trip. Anything else I should know? Yep! If you come you get to mark it down as a volunteer hour- remember each family is required to serves 50 hours over the course of the school year- take advantage of this easy hour!

The football team is battling the Wichita Defenders at 6:00 PM at Bennett Field!

Let’s fill the stands and make some noise for our football boys! Go Veritas!

The secondary students ended Homecoming week with a their annual traditions! The Jr High students enjoyed Taste the Movie, where they watched a fun movie together and enjoyed themed snacks while the High School students danced the night away at the fall formal. We love to get to see our students interact with one another and build their friendships outside of the classrooms!

It might be the candy or the excitement from all of the homecoming fun last week one thing is for sure- Mrs. Lyons and her kindergarteners are ready for another great week!

🦅 It’s Spirit Week, and our football team and three of our volleyball teams have games today!

🏐The evening starts with our Junior High A, Junior High B, and JV volleyball teams taking on Midland Adventist at the Veritas Gym! Games are at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 PM.

🏈 The football team is battling Cair Paravel at 6:00 PM at Bennett Field!

Our high school students had a great morning hearing from our guest, Mr. Brian Hanni, during World View Wednesday. Mr. Hanni shared his testimony and how he was influenced by the book, Roaring Lambs, to live out his faith in an authentic way. He encouraged students to live with perseverance and never let the enemy steal the dreams God has placed in their hearts and ended with a practical and easy way to share the Gospel with others. And he even let students get an up close look at the Championship Ring . Thank you Brian for giving us your time today and depositing such great seeds into our students.

Why are we smiling in science class? Because it's FRIDAY and a long weekend! Enjoy this long weekend and we can't wait to see all of your smiling faces back on campus on Tuesday!

Our KQuest class is already learning and growing so much! We love to see their imaginations and creativity- today in PE they were having all kids of fun with balloons and hula-hoops!

Our elementary students started their morning off in Chapel and what a great day they've had! Be sure to ask your student about the special guest that made an appearance!

Whether it's debating which color is better or figuring out computer programming, our secondary students are given the opportunity to explore their interests in a variety of elective choices.

Did you hear the news? Uplift will be available for purchase during drop off this Thursday, September 3rd, in the parking lot! Stop by the truck to grab a Latte, wake yourself up with an Americano, or beat the heat with a Cold Brew!

Our 2nd graders love a good book and any opportunity to read!

Each Friday our secondary students gather for Chapel. Eagle Song led us in worship followed by a message from Pastor McFarland giving us an overview of Psalms and reminding us of the importance of God's Word and the beauty in taking time to pause and listen to Him.

Small class sizes allow our teachers more opportunities to give one-with-one support to students. This is especially important at the start of the year when teachers are assessing where students are at and then able to make decisions early on that will best support each individual student's learning journey for the year.

Mornings are for Math! And we caught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade working hard reviewing concepts they learned last year!

Mrs. Garner and the 9th graders took their learning outside today for a Biology scavenger hunt! After reviewing their new vocabulary words, the class headed out with a bucket and a partner to hunt for things like an autotroph, a gymnosperm, and an Eukaryote.
