Mark your calendars to join us for Pastries with Parents on Wednesday, March 11 starting at 7:15.
Parents are encouraged to join their students for a breakfast treat- this is a come and go event- meaning you can come anytime after 7:15 and we will finish serving at 8:05.
Wednesday is also our Elementary Chapel morning and we would love to have you stay and join your student for this as well starting at 8:05!

What an incredible showing for our Eagles at State!
🏆 Junior High — STATE CHAMPIONS! Bringing home the title and finishing the season on top!
🥈 Varsity — 2nd Place! Battling all the way to the championship game and earning a hard-fought runner-up finish.
🥉 Girls — 3rd Place! Competing with grit and determination to secure a top finish at State.
We are so proud of our student-athletes! Way to finish strong, Eagles!
Recently our 7th graders did a Research/Report/Respond project in their history class. They were given a topic to research, created an oral report they presented to the class and then had to answer questions their peers had all within the class period that day. These exercises are tapping into high-level learning for our junior high students requiring them to develop skills in research, critical thinking, organization and time management, public speaking, active listening, and on the spot listening. This type of assignment strengthens not only academic knowledge but also confidence, communication skills, and critical thinking — all of which are foundational during the middle school years and will set them up for success as they progress into high school and beyond.
Our elementary students & teachers love it when their secondary house buddies come for a visit.
Getting to see our secondary students develop relationships with our elementary students where they are not only seen but known takes intentionality but it's always worth the work when we catch them giving their buddy a high five and a big smile outside of the classroom!
Our first graders enjoyed a special visit from Dr. Nellor for Dental Health Month!

This morning we hosted our fourth annual High School Career Fair with a variety of businesses, military representatives, technical schools, and young adult ministries in attendance.
This career fair is a great opportunity to expose our students to a variety of post high school options and we love to see what sparks an interest among the students.

Our junior and senior students experienced an unforgettable immersive field trip at the White House Decision Center, a nationally recognized, hands-on history lab. Students stepped into the roles of President Truman and his advisors, worked with formerly classified primary source documents, and collaborated to tackle some of history’s greatest challenges.
From critical thinking to teamwork and leadership, this experience brought history off the page and into real-world decision-making. What an incredible way to learn!
The 4th grade class had a special visit from the Lawrence Breakfast Optimist club where they received dictionaries.
The Optimist club serves all of Douglas County and promotes giving back to our youth!
