Mrs. Unruh's third graders took some time out of the classroom to take a prayer walk through the school and pray for our teachers and students. We love to see their faith in action.

The junior and senior classes journied to the Truman Presidential Library in Independence, MO, for an educational simulation experience. The Truman Library's White House Decision Center, is the only White House Decision Center in the country, offers students a hands-on experience of being a member of President Truman's cabinet, tasked with advising him on a historical foreign policy decision. This year, students participated in the decision of whether to commit U.S. troops to the Korean Conflict. The students worked hard during this simulation experience, reading and analyzing top-secret documents of the era. This was a truly unique educational opportunity!
