Introducing our NEW Junior High School Boys Basketball Coach, Gary Greert! Come meet Coach Greer and learn about his vision for the future of Veritas Junior High Basketball on Tuesday, August 27, at 6:30pm upstairs at the school. All junior high boys (grades 6-8) (and their parents/guardians) interested in basketball should plan to attend! If you are unable to attend, please reach out to the Athletic Director, kdaniels@veritaschristianschool.org. Coach Greer is a pastor at Bridge Pointe Community Church here in Lawrence. He has been married to his wife Jen for 15 years. They have three kids, Stephen, 12, Spenser, 10, and Madelyn, 4. He graduated from Bethel Christian Academy in 2000 and won a state championship in basketball his sophomore year there. Other than coaching his boys’ soccer, basketball, and baseball teams for the last few years, he has also coached a few high school basketball teams. He coached girls high school basketball for two years and coached the boys high school basketball team for two years at the school he graduated from. He also coached a high school inner city St. Louis team for two summers. He is excited to start coaching this year and hopes for a great season! Welcome Coach Greer to Veritas Athletics!
